Croad joined the Choura Events family in early February and has already begun leveraging her decades of expertise to further elevate the company’s catering offerings

LONG BEACH, Calif. (February 25, 2013) – Syndi Croad, the well-known and respected owner of Moondance Catering, has joined the Choura Events food service team. Choura Events CEO Ryan J. Choura officially announced the hiring in a February 5 internal email. Bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in culinary crafts, Croad is expected to significantly enhance the breadth and depth of Choura Events’ catering business.

Moondance Catering’s clients will be invited to continue working with Croad in her new position as Catering and Events Manager for Choura Events.

She has brought her passion, personal touch and professional drive for her fans directly into the Choura Events culture.”

Croad began her training in food service as a young girl in Northern California, where she grew up in the kitchen of a family-owned restaurant. It was there that she developed her life-long passion for fine food served with a generous helping of old-fashioned hospitality. Croad has since served on the staffs of fine restaurants around the world, delivering her special brand of flawless service and poised etiquette. The Southern California Writers Association and Los Angeles magazine have both recognized her work with Moondance Catering.

Croad has played active roles for the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, Long Beach Women’s Business Council, Long Beach City’s Visitor’s Bureau, National Association of Catering Executives, International Special Events Society, Downtown Long Beach Associates and W.I.N.T.E.R (Women in Non-Traditional Employment Roles). She has also employed her organizational, marketing and customer relations strengths for companies including Cisco Systems, Bank of America and Mary Kay Cosmetics.
